Cat Chat - How Cats Communicate With You by Remy Fletcher

Cat chat is just a term to say that you have been around cats for quite a while and knows what they roughly want just from their meowing.

In particular, Siamese cats have human-like voices. So when they meow, it is not surprising that you will hear a human greeting in the middle of the night.

Cat also purrs and is also part of the cat chat category as it voice based. Cat purrs are actually their favorite way for communication. They purr when they are satisfied and contented or just want to be sociable. But they also purr when they are nervous, jumpy or in great pain.

When you are deemed trustworthy enough by your cat, your cat will submit fully to you through a demonstration of rolling over its back. But it does not necessarily means that it wants it stomach to be rubbed.

Cat chat also involves the tail as the tail also communicates different feelings through. Puffed up tails will show fear is being felted by your cat. However, a tail that is held up high will show that he is feeling good and relaxed.

Your cat will show that it really loves you when it head butts you. You can do it back but be careful of its fragile body. Your cat will enjoy it and a bond will form.

So just wait and observe your cat. Soon, you will be very close to your cat such that maybe an actual "cat chat" will occur.
